How To Spray Paint Cladding Walls

Are you fond of spray painting? You must be aware that the best way to style and protect the corrugated and cladded wall is by spray painting it. 1. Prep and Prime

Before you start coloring your wall, you need to ensure that the surface is ready to be colored. When you use a good quality primer to prepare the surface, you get an even coat of color and finishing. The color also lasts for a prolonged period upon being prepped. Use a water-dilutable coating and make sure that the primer helps in preventing oxidization.

2. Have Enough Information About the Surface

When you apply spray paint to a surface, you need to ensure that you are well informed about the type of surface. You will also have to keep maintaining it on a regular basis to prevent degradation of the wall and painting.

3. Specification of the Coating

You need to check that the kind of coat that you are using is compatible with the surface as well. The more they go well together, the better will be the life expectancy. There are some specialized coating which is found in the market, and you can go for them. There are some sprays which are designed to be sprayed on plastisol, steel, PVF2 surfaces. If the coating is of high quality, it will also protect the wall from fungal attack, pollution, abrasion, impact.

4. Masking and Protecting

If you have chosen contrasting colors to paint different parts of the wall, you will have to protect and conceal the other parts before you start spraying a particular one. Arrange some masking for the adjacent parts before commencing the spraying process.

5. Arrange the Equipment

If the project that you are carrying out needs to have access to high levels, you will have to arrange the necessary equipment for that as well. You need to buy self-propelled booms, scaffold towers, scissor lifts, etc. to access the entire wall. Also, make sure that there are complete safety and least chances of risk when you are carrying out the work.

6. Plan the Work

When you have programmed the entire work, it gets finished off quickly and efficiently. Divide the job properly and have great team coordination to ensure that the work is done nicely.
